2014 Audi R8


Due out in 2014, the next generation Audi R8 will feature an aluminum and carbon fiber architecture in an effort to save weight and help the automaker meet increasingly stringent fuel economy targets which will be 100kg lighter compared to the existing R8. This technology should provide better results than the carbon monocoque and it is cheaper too. In comparison to the current R8 model, which was launched in 2006 and is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo that will undergo a slight restyling next year -this next generation model will gain 30% in torsional stiffness, making it most rigid car in its segment. 
It is equipped with the engine capacity of 4200 cc DOHC V8 FSI and FSI engine capacity of 5200 cc DOHC V10 is equipped with 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed R tronic. Beneath the bonnet stored 4.2-liter V8 engine which has a maximum power of 450 PS with 430Nm of torque that drives all four wheels (quattro) transmission combined with dual-clutch 7-speed.
The price is $200,000.
